Ravaged by natural disasters and many decades political unrest and mismanagement, the poor in Haiti are the forgotten victims of unimaginable misfortune. Just in the past few years, Haiti, already the poorest country in the western hemisphere, has been hit by a devastating earthquake, hurricanes and destructive floods that made already difficult living conditions even worse. The need in Haiti is just as great today, as it was right after the earthquake in January 2010, and more recently, the 2017 floods and landslides. Your donated vehicle or other asset will help to provide the funds that we need to provide desperately needed aid to the forgotten - especially residents in the outlying rural areas from the capital, where the need is even more extreme. Although the earthquake struck almost a decade ago, you may be surprised to know that many homes are still in rubble, and many residents are still living in tents and other makeshift shelter, as if the tragedy occurred just yesterday. Cars4Haiti.org operates through the Help Me Too Foundation, an IRS 501(c)3 registered non-profit organization. We are committed to doing our part to help, and we hope that you will join us in this very worthwhile effort. We accept any vehicle in any condition, running or not. Your donated vehicle will be picked up at no cost to you, processed and sold. Proceeds from the sale are then used to fund and expand our aid programs on the ground in Haiti. We also accept any other property of value, and we operate independently from any government or political influence, so the collected funds and aid are used as they were intended - to give maximum service to the needy.
